Being an LSA for 24 years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of children on their educational journeys and watching them grow into confident, capable young people. I strongly believe that ‘teamwork makes the dream work’, and this collaboration is vital in helping both children and staff achieve, enjoy, and thrive. In my role as an ELSA, I take great pride in nurturing positive mental health and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing.

Working at Three Lane Ends Academy for the past 18 years has truly been a privilege. I have loved watching the children learn, develop independence, and grow in confidence. Being part of their journey brings a smile to my face every day. As an ELSA, I gain great satisfaction from supporting children with their emotions and knowing that I am making a positive difference. I am proud to work alongside a dedicated and caring team who consistently support one another and place the children at the heart of everything they do. Seeing children progress both academically and emotionally is an amazing feeling.

I have worked at Three Lane Ends Academy for 12 years and I continue to love it for its strong sense of community spirit. The children are wonderful and I enjoy seeing them grow throughout their time at our school. I am part of a warm, encouraging team who are always positive and supportive. Working at Three Lane Ends Academy is a genuinely rewarding experience. The school has a strong sense of community, where both staff and pupils feel valued and supported. Colleagues are incredibly collaborative and approachable, creating a culture in which ideas are shared and everyone works together to achieve the very best outcomes for children. The senior leadership team are highly supportive and visible, placing a clear emphasis on staff wellbeing, professional development and high standards. 

The children at the academy are polite, enthusiastic and proud of their school. Their positive attitudes and eagerness to learn contribute to a calm, purposeful and happy atmosphere throughout the building.

I feel safe at Three Lane Ends  -  it is fun and educational. We are provided with good learning.  My favourite place is my classroom and I love history. 

T Longley  - Year 5 

At Three Lane Ends I love my friends and my teachers. They are helpful and make things easy.  I love the playground and equipment. My favourite lesson is Maths.  School dinners are good and filling and different options are good. My favourite is popcorn chicken. 

L Thorpe – Year 1 

At Three Lane Ends I like to learn and play with my friends.  My favourite lesson is PE on our playground with our equipment, where I feel safe.
