“Working together to achieve excellence for all”

We have four values at Three Lane Ends Academy

At Three Lane Ends Academy, we strive to provide a nurturing environment where our pupils can flourish and grow – academically, socially and emotionally.

Through strong and mutually respectful relationships, we allow pupils to be inquisitive and develop a thirst for knowledge that will instil a love of learning.

Our progressive and sequential curriculum is rich in cultural capital and gives pupils the understanding of the world, beyond where they live.

Our pupils thrive on the challenge of knowing and remembering more.  They enjoy being inquisitive and learning through purposeful and relevant enquiry.

As a community, we are driven in our ambition for pupils to become life-long learners and aspire to be the best they can be.

We are committed to demonstrating the core values of Castleford Academy Trust through our practice, as well as the standards and expectations:

Castleford Academy Trust Vision

“Working together to achieve excellence for all.”

Standards and expectations

At Castleford Academy Trust we will…

Have a total commitment to improving the life chances and aspirations of all pupils, hold high expectations and a have a relentless focus on pupil progress and attainment so that no child is left behind.

Develop outstanding and proactive leadership at all levels that is visible and has a positive impact.  Leaders that ‘see it, sort it’ and develop a culture of ‘no excuses’.

Ensure pupils demonstrate exemplary behaviour based on a consistent, fair and positive behaviour management approach, holding high expectations for all and zero tolerance approach to low level disruption, so that teachers can teach and learners can learn.

Have a coherently planned, ambitious and well sequenced curriculum that allows pupils to accumulate the knowledge and skills for future learning and employment.

Will ensure that all pupils experience a rich and full programme of enrichment opportunities, personal development and well-being support in order to build character.

Have positive and caring relationships, where pupils, staff, parents and governors work together for the benefit of the community.

Safeguard the welfare of all pupils by ensuring that safeguarding is the responsibility of all staff and teach pupils how to recognise risk and stay safe.

Will recruit, retain and develop highly effective staff who are committed to a culture where there is no acceptance of teaching less than good.

We will always remain outward facing and strive to improve and do things better with no complacency.

Will ensure all academies within the Trust are able to generate a positive financial outcome at the end of each financial year to deliver its aims through efficient, forward and effective curriculum led planning.
